.・゜゜・.・゜゜・.・゜゜・

You are invited to participate in the beautiful and honest work of moving from the madness of fragmented, land-divorced, numbly-ravenous modernity to the natural magic of connected, land-reverent, ecstatically-nourishing ritual culture.

If you are ready to take up your right and luscious place as a lover of life, as kin in the practice of becoming more deeply alive through the mundane miracles of feeling, eating, healing, dancing, and loving, together, then register to join us now.

Savoring the world is a strategy for revolution,
a new echo of the same ancient prayers,
an offering of love to the world.

What’s the point of all of this?

The point of all of this is to love life together - to love the Earth, to love the depth of our own feeling, to love the long walk of remembering ourselves home. We are here to love being exactly what we are - alive, together, here, and now. It is vital that we remember to savor the experiences of aliveness, to transmute with reverent presence the conditioning of civilization that has us forget our intimate and immanent communion with all life. We remember the miracle that it is to Live.

On a somewhat larger scale, the practices of villaging are to support the intelligence of the Mystery that weaves humans back together with the living body of the Earth from which we have broadly departed, staggering under the spells of cultural amnesia and anaesthesia. Some of how the Mystery Works is by iterating exploratively + experimentally practices that foment trust, care, and understanding among folks seeking to be real humans together again, in relationship to specific lands, stories, and ways.

How do we actually weave bonds of kinship among an entirely mixed diaspora, on land that we are still learning to love enough to steward well, torn from the hands and feet of those who still do? It's an agonizing question with no adequate answer:
only by the wet quaking of grief shared,
only by the labor-alongside for soils and seeds,
only by our resolve to remember + praise the sacred ground that feeds us and feels us,
only by daring to love life fully, even and especially amid these great losses,
do we become human enough to wonder what answers may sleep in our bones.

Important Information

  • $248 covers our basic costs for your five full + balanced meals, two nights and three days of camping together on the land, all activities, facilitation, and rituals, plus inclusion in the Kintegration gathering to follow (Sept 29), and at least one jar of cultured ferments we will have made together in prayer!

We strive to make this work accessible and sustainable for all folks involved. There are lots of opportunities for work-trade by agreement, particularly in the areas of set-up, food preparation, space-tending, field-tending, + clean-up support. If you are interested in exploring this option, please send an email with your interests to: weaver@themysteryworks.com.

If we align for basic work-trade (around 4 hours of work), we will send you a discount code to cover the ticket price, except for $110 to cover your food and venue portion. If your interest in working the event exceeds a contribution of more than 8 hours, you may receive a full comp code. Contact us to discuss possibilities as soon as possible. Work-trade agreements are unlikely to be available after September 12th.

  • Yes! Attentively-sourced, reverently-prepared, savor-worthy food is one of the central threads of the Mystery Works, as the fertility and voracity of this living, flowering Earth is the most awe-inspiring, erotically inter-penetrating Mystery with which we all work.

The only exceptions are: for lunch on Saturday, we ask that folks bring some of the harvest of their gardens (veggies, herbs, fungi) or foraging hike or local CSA to contribute to a community-sourced soup that is a prayer of our togetherness, of the mutuality of our nourishment, of our capacity to source directly from these lands and together share the bounty. The other possible exception is if you have an uncommonly restrictive diet, or if you are not able or not wanting to ritually fast after dinner on Saturday until the feast early Sunday afternoon. In that case, bring your own food.

  • The Mystery Works is a living ecology of actual relationships, so everything operates on the basis of specific beings and circumstances. That said, Savor the World is designed to be a journey that we take together, and for the good of the container and the health of the kintext, the thread of your presence is requested to be continuous throughout. The only exceptions would be on Sunday - for breathwork, harvest, ritual, and feast. If you would like to come for Sunday only, it would be a special case. Please email weaver@themysteryworks.com to feel into how.

  • It is a central part of the prayer - to practice living on the same land together and give our nervous systems a taste of what it might actually be like to village - to wake, to share food and stories, to daydream, and then, to nightdream together on the same piece of Earth. If it's impossible for you, again, please reach out to weaver@themysteryworks.com to share the circumstances of your need.

  • Please note below if you would like to bring children, so we can figure out the infrastructure to support if the need + desire is there. The entirety of Saturday is off-limits for children's direct attendance because of the nature and energetics of the content, but we are exploring the possibility of having childcare on-site.

  • Sorry, no dogs.

  • Upon registration, we will send you a packing list with an invitation for other ways to enrich your experience.

The only way to weave a more beautiful world is together.

We are ready, and it is time.

You in?

“If you know, why wait?
If not now, when?”

We are turning the great wheel of culture back towards the ground, towards right relationship with that which nourishes us, towards reweaving kintimacy of place.

The substrate of ritual is meaning, story, spirit, power. It is not sufficient to answer the question: “what are we doing now?” with a to-do list. We must weave the immanent truth of the aliveness of all things with the other immanent imminence that is the dyingness of all things. Only in this way do we really come to life, only in this way do we really claim our deep souls, only in this way do we turn the Great Wheel back to the real. Falseness and apathy die in the feeling embodiment of this ecstasy. In this way, we become free.

We, Mystery Workers, believe that it is time to make more explicit the workings of this regenerative ecology of earth-reverent revolutionaries, in order to nourish the mycelial web that binds us together on this land.

the vision

The Vision is of a regenerative Front Range, with thriving food-sheds, soil-sheds, water-sheds, culture-sheds, a bellwether of the decentralized movement to affirm life and our ability as humans to steward and nurture natural systems towards greater vitality and diversity.

The regenerative movement is well underway here in the Front Range, and it is the mission of The Mystery Works to proliferate the possibilities of what we can do, together - for these particular lands and beyond.

Revolution Roll Call is for drawing the ecology of our bioregional regenerative movement into explicit coherence and cooperation, and to invoke the intercession of the Mysterious forces that back Life’s cleverest immunities and kin-novations. Let’s roll.

  • We nourish the soil that feeds us by linking folks doing similar work and holding similar visions. Devotional Coworking Sessions offer a place where such meetings and weavings can happen, as we trust life to continue to reveal clever ways forward and deeper.

  • This movement is based on the depth and intimacy of real relationships. It spreads through direct contacts, among folks who share hearts, prayers, dance floors, food, healing, and sacred labors. We take each other’s hands and proceed together.

Even still, it is not a line. There is no “front.” Every center is an edge, and every edge, a center. The More Beautiful Movement is oriented towards connection, mutual nourishment, and stabilizing depths.

  • We trust the greater knowing of Life and the Land itself to support the regeneration and diverse flourishing of our land and community. None of us claims to know the wholeness of what is happening, but, rather, we aim to give ourselves to what is unfolding with presence, humility, and relationality. Life knows better than any one of us. Together, we are closer, and the Mystery abides it all.

  • Life cultures healthy substrates. Like gut flora or sourdough starter or the very soil beneath our feet, Life creates more life when the living is good, when nutrients are present, when the conditions are ripe. We aim to support Life in culturing the living here, to bloom our collective strength and diversity in support of regenerating the land here and in all places.

There is no “right” — there is only “real.”
